Silver Knight Club
Club Description: Silver Knight is not so much a club, as it is a high honor given to a select group of outstanding high school students. This year, there are 15 students from John A. Ferguson who are official nominees for the prestigious award. Silver Knight nominees must have an outstanding academic history, as well as an impressive and impacting community service record. In May, the official Silver Knight awards ceremony will take place to recognize nominees as well as winners. Silver Knight Nominees are in the running for the prestigious Silver Knight Award, which is awarded by The Miami Herald in a ceremony in May.
Requirements: Silver Knight Nominees must be high school seniors with a minimum 3.2 unweighted gpa and must have participated in a compelling service project that has impacted their schools and/or community.
